'''Bipradas Pipilai''' (15th century)  manasamangal poet, second to [[Vijay Gupta|vijay gupta]]. Two manuscripts of his poem have been preserved in the [[Asiatic Society|asiatic society]] at Kolkata, one in the Burdwan Sahitya Sabha, and another in the Visva-Bharati Library. The autobiographical references in the poem describe the poet as being the son of Mukunda Pandit, a [[brahman]] from the 24-Parganas. Bipradas's [[manasa]] is an affectionate, kindly goddess.
