The government launched the bank on 30 June with an approved capital of Tk 3000 million divided into 30 million shares of Tk 100 each under the Karmasangsthan Bank Act. As at the end of 2020 the authorized and paid-up capital of the Karmasangsthan Bank stood at BDT 10000 and 5590 million.
