Durbeen a persian weekly journal published from calcutta in 1853. It was edited by Shah Syed Reazatullah of brahmanbaria. Like other journals of the period, this journal also focused on contemporary religious and social issues. Most of the articles emphasized the need for appropriate religious and modern education for Muslims. Syed Shamsul Huda was a regular contributor. [Md.
