Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University

'Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University' is one of the best public universities in Bangladesh. The Islamic University, set up in Santosh, commenced its formal academic venture in 1999 being a public university by the nationalization. Presently there are two faculties including Life Sciences as well as Computer Science and Engineering. There are seven departments in the University including Computer Science and Engineering Department, Information and Communication Technology Department, Textile Engineering Department under Computer Science and Engineering Faculty; Environmental and Resource Management Department, Criminology and Police Science Department, Food Technology and Nutritional Science Department along with Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Department under Life Science Faculty. Besides a department entitled by Business Administration in the faculty of Business is scheduled to open soon.
