'''Sanaullah, Muhammad''' (1892-1973) educationist and litterateur, was born on 2 February 1892 at Tilakpur in Ishwardi, [[Pabna District|pabna]]. He passed the Entrance examination (1908) from Pabna Zila School, IA (1910) from Rajshahi College, BA (1912) from Calcutta City College. After completing his MA in Persian (1914), he started teaching. At various times he taught at [[Chittagong College|chittagong college]], Hughli College, Islamia College and [[presidency college]]. He retired from teaching in 1947 and continued to live in Kolkata till 1966, when he migrated to Dhaka. He was associated with the Anjuman-e-Tarakki-e- Kawam and edited several issues of its journal, the ''Samyabadi Patrika''. He wrote a novel, ''Mrtyu Pathe'' (1938), as well as a number of biographies such as ''Hazrat Fatema'', ''Dillishwari'' and ''Rahima''. He also wrote of books for children, among them ''Rakta Kamal Rajkanya'' and ''Raksusi Rani'' as well as book of advice for girls, ''Adarsha Balika''. Muhammad Sanaullah died in 1973.
