In the meantime, the City Museum has published 13 research works concerning cards, posters and booklets on different historical sites of Dhaka town, and various other themes about Dhaka. Notable among these works are Mohammad Abdul Quayyum's ''Chawkbazarer Ketabpatti'' (The Book-Lane of Chowkbazar), Shamsur Rahman's ''Smritir Shahar'' (A Town of Remembrance), Abdul Karim's ''Dhakai Maslin'' (The Muslin of Dhaka), Muntassir Mamoon's ''Dhakar Hariye Zawa Kaman'' (The Forgotten Cannons of Dhaka), Patrick Gadress ''Dhaka Nagar Unnayan Parikalpana'' (The Planning for the Development of Dhaka City), etc. Besides, the important historical events of Dhaka City are very often brought to the notice of city-dwellers through the display of photographs.
