Bhadanta
Bhadanta (meaning venerable or respected) is an address of respect used for bhikkhus and mendicants of Theravada buddhism. Other forms are bhaddanta, bhante and bhadante. According to pali literature, Gautam Buddha used to be addressed as bhadanta or bhante.
