Cabbage (bandhakopi) a popular winter vegetable, Brassica oleracea var. capittata, of the Cruciferae family; a native of Europe. Cabbage is rich in vitamin A, B, C and calcium. Seedlings of 25-30 days are usually transplanted in October-November; average yield is 60-70 m ton/ha.
