Kuliarchar Upazila
Kuliarchar Upazila (kishoreganj district) area 104.01 sq km, located in between 24°06' and 24°13' north latitudes and in between 90°49' and 90°58' east longitudes. It is bounded by bajitpur upazila on the north, belabo and bhairab upazilas on the south, Bhairab and Bajitpur upazilas on the east, katiadi and Belabo upazilas on the west.
Population Total 182236; male 87955, female 94281; Muslim 169684, Hindu 12428, Buddhist 4, Christian 6 and others 114.
Water bodies Main rivers: old brahmaputra, meghna, arial khan.
Administration Kuliarchar Thana was formed in 1921 and it was turned into an upazila in 1984.

Archaeological heritage and relics Homestead of Maharaja Trailokyanath Chakravarty (Kapashatia), Gosair akhra (Ramdi), Dashpara Kali Bari (Kuliarchar).
War of Liberation During the war of liberation on 14 August 1971 an encounter was held between the freedom fighters and the Pak army in which four Pakistan soldiers were killed and 28 Razakars surrendered to the freedom fighters along with their arms and ammunitions. Freedom fighters of the upazila had encountrers with Pakistani soldiers at places like Madhya-Salua, Vangarhat, Fakirpar.

Sanitation 46.6% of dwelling households of the upazila use sanitary latrines and 46.6% of dwelling households use non-sanitary latrines; 14.6% of households do not have latrine facilities.
