Comilla City Corporation (comilla district) area 33 km. Comilla City Corporation was formed on 10 July 2011, consisting 27 wards of Comilla Adarsha Sadar and Comilla Sadar Dakshin Paurasabha. The first ever mayoral election of Comilla City Corporation was held on 5 January 2012 and Monirul Haque Sakku was the first elected mayor of this city corporation.
