Ahamkar (pride) a vedio-sanskrit word expresses egoistic state of an individual. It means `I make, I create, I roar and give declaration.'; According to Vedio Philosophy ahamkar portrays the entity of a person and the consciences of personal existence. According to the Sankhya system of philosophy written by kapila and the Yogic scripture, ahamkar or pride is regarded as the third degree of the nature's metamorphic process. Various forms and orders of this physical world were manifested from this state. According to the sankhya Philosophy, the intellect and the mind of an individual are components of the nature, which remain unchanged forever. All other factors are changeable. The vedic scripture says, God has been playing with the universe and the living beings there created by Himself out of pride. [Muhammad Saiful Islam]
