Kadal Khan Gazi (14th century) Military chief of Sultan fakhruddin mubarak shah (1338-1349). Kadal Khan accompanied Haji Khalil and Badar Alam to chittagong, where they preached the message of islam. Kadal Khan's mazar is located at Katalganj, in Chittagong. To the local people, he is known as 'Katal' or 'Kattal Pir', the name perhaps deriving from the heavy casualties he inflicted on his enemies in the battle against the maghs. [Md Abdur Rashid]
