Shihabuddin Bayazid Shah

Shihabuddin Bayazid Shah (1413-1414 AD) sultan of Bengal. He revolted and killed his master, saifuddin hamza shah, ascended the throne and issued coins in his own name from both Firuzabad (pandua) and satgaon. Shihabuddin Bayazid Shah was perhaps a slave (Mamluk) of Hamza Shah before his accession to the throne. He exchanged envoys with the emperor of China and sent him giraffes, horses and local products as presents. raja ganesha ('Kans' of Muslim historians), a landlord of Bhaturia, attacked and slew Bayazid Shah and usurped the throne in 1414 AD.
