Swapnapuri a famed private tourist spot situated at Rahimapur village of Kushdaho union in the nawbabgonj upazila under the dinajpur district. It is situated 16 km away from Nawbabgonj upazila headquarters and 55 km from Dinajpur town. The tourist site was established in 1989 on a piece of 100 acres of land by Md Delowar Hossain, then chairman of Kushdaho union and Mostafizur Rahman (Fizu), former member of parliament. The tourist spot was named as Swapnapuri. The spot is characterised by a zoo, a ropeway, artificial lake, minitrain, moyurpankhi nao (boat shaped like a peacock),' artifical hillock and a forest line make the main features of the spot. Regular boat race is organised in the artificial lake. There are shops of fancy kinds, hotels, restaurants, and modern motel. Thousands of sightseers and tourists visit the spot every year.
