	The pioneer Head Mistress Dr Kazi Anwara Mansoor discharged her responsibility from 1957 to 1987. She was conferred Begum Rokeya Padak, a state national award for her contribution to the expansion of female education. Later the government awarded Principal Rokeya Mannan of this institution the same prize.
