He started writing against social prejudices and with the hope of reopening the mosques which had been closed during the [[faraizi movement]] and restarting the &amp;#039;&amp;#039;jum&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;a&amp;#039;&amp;#039; prayers.
