He studied at Senhati and Kirtipasha. He later took lessons in [[sanskrit]] and Persian and joined Kirtipasha Bengali School as head pundit in 1854. He also became a pundit at Dhaka Normal School, but resigned over some disagreement with the school administration. &lt;br /&gt;

 &amp;lt;p class=Normal &amp;gt;In 1860, Krishna Chandra was appointed editor of the monthly &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Manora&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;v&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;jik&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;a&amp;#039;&amp;#039; and [[kavitakusumavali]]. In 1861 he became editor of the [[dhaka&amp;#039;&amp;#039; &amp;#039;&amp;#039;prakash]], but resigned following a disagreement with the owner. He was appointed editor of the weekly &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Bijnapani&amp;#039;&amp;#039; in 1865.
