His [[Yusuf-Zulekha|yusuf-zulekha]] has commendatory verses for Gauda King [[Ghiyasuddin Azam Shah|ghiyasuddin azam shah]] (1389-1410). It indicates that he was perhaps the court poet of Azam Shah and wrote the volume at his request. Although it has praise for the parents and teachers of the poet, it does not mention their names or residence.
