He was conferred the title of &amp;#039;Vyakaranatirtha&amp;#039;; in the &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Up&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;a&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;dhi&amp;#039;&amp;#039; Examination of &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Kal&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;a&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;pa&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, the title of &amp;#039;Tarkaratna&amp;#039;; by [[bangabibudhajanani sabha]] of Nabadwip, and that of &amp;#039;Tarkavagish&amp;#039;; from Benares. After studying &amp;#039;&amp;#039;S&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;a&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;ngkhya&amp;#039;&amp;#039; and &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Ved&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;a&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;nta &amp;#039;&amp;#039;with Mahamahopadhyay Subrahmanya Shastri, he established a Sanskrit college at Bangalitola in Benares, where he taught from 1896 to 1907. Afterwards, he established another Sanskrit college in his own village. He was the life-long Secretary of Idilpur Hitaisini Sabha from 1918. He wrote &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Prabh&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;a&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, a commentary on Vyaptivadanyaya&amp;#039;;s &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Vyadhikara&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;n&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;a&amp;#039;&amp;#039; and &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Vy&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;a&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;ptyanugama&amp;#039;&amp;#039;.
