Bipradas Pipilai (15th century) manasamangal poet, second to vijay gupta. Two manuscripts of his poem have been preserved in the asiatic society at Kolkata, one in the Burdwan Sahitya Sabha, and another in the Visva-Bharati Library. The autobiographical references in the poem describe the poet as being the son of Mukunda Pandit, a brahman from the 24-Parganas. Bipradas';s manasa is an affectionate, kindly goddess.
