Nabi Bangsha (1584) biographical poem about hazrat muhammad (Sm) by syed sultan of Patya, Chittagong. It is divided into two parts. The first part, 'Nabi Bangsha';, describes the creation and lives of different mythological and historical personalities preceding Hazrat Muhammad (S). Apart from Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus Christ, the poet also describes Indian deities such as brahma, vishnu, Rama, krishna etc.

The second part, 'Rasul Charita';, narrates the life of Hazrat Muhammad (Sm). Though the secular mind of the poet is revealed by his juxtaposition of Hindu gods and Muslim prophets, the author is conscious about the merit of his own religion, Islam. This voluminous poem provides extensive information about the customs and manners of the poet';s time. [Badiuzzaman] [Badiuzzaman former Deputy Director, Bangla Academy, Dhaka]
