Sanskrit Sahitya Parisat

Sanskrit Sahitya Parisat a seat of oriental research, established in 1916 to disseminate sanskrit learning and research in different branches of Indology and to store and maintain ancient Indian culture. It was originally known as Vangiya Sanskrit Sahitya Parisat. Located in Kolkata, it has a rich collection of Sanskrit works, both in printed and manuscript form. It has a tol department for traditional Sanskrit learning and also a publication department. Sanskrit Sahitya Parisat Patrika, a journal in Sanskrit, is published regularly from this institution.
