Khulna Division area 22284.22 sq km, located in between 21°60' and 24°13' north latitudes and in between 88°34' and 89°58' east longitudes. Administration Khulna Division was formed in 1960. Khulna Paurasabha was declared on 12 December 1884. It was up graded into a Municipal Corporation on 12 December 1984; Khulna City Corporation was declared on 6 August 1990.
